OVIS will ship your order as soon as possible. Some
orders may take longer due to backorders or special
orders. We
will ship your order complete, unless specified otherwise
in the "Special Instructions" area on the Check Out form. |

Freight Cost and Estimates |
|
Since we are a wholesale supplier, and many of our
product aren't very expensive but can be very heavy or
bulky, we base
our freight charges on the weight and size of your order
as calculated by a carrier like UPS or USPS, or in case
of very heavy shipments a common carrier truck line. The
weight of the products in our store are very close,
but can vary based on design changes, or packaging
consolidation by our shipping department to save you
freight costs. Your freight charges will be based on the
ACTUAL total package weight. Our server interfaces
with the UPS and USPS servers to give you a estimate
of
the freight charge. If you like we will package your
order, weigh it, and give you a firm quote for freight
before we ship your order. Please specify this option in
the "Special Instructions" area on the Check Out form. |

Shipping Odd Size and/or Heavy Shipments |
|
We will use the carrier you specify, unless it doesn't
make practical sense, in that case we will call you or
email you to discuss the best method of shipment, however
in most cases UPS
(our preference)
or USPS
(better for Alaska and Hawaii)
will work fine. We have a great deal of experience
shipping odd size and weight shipments, and will consider
cost, speed, and damage concerns, when recommending
any different carrier than the one you have specified.
Our goal is to get your order to you undamaged, in as
efficient manner as possible. |

Damaged Shipments |
|
If you discover
your product is damaged, the most important thing is don't
alter the packaging any further, and save all the
packaging, as UPS will inspect the packaging in their
claims process. The next step is to contact
UPS or the United States Postal Service to file the claim. You
should file the
claim directly with UPS, here is a link to the UPS
damage claim form. UPS has a detailed
frequently asked questions page that will answer
most all questions about the claim process. |

Lost Shipments |
If you do not
receive your shipment in a reasonable time, it may have
been lost in shipment. This is very rare with UPS.
You can track your order
here. If the shipment is shown as not
delivered or in transit for a few days longer than the
UPS time in transit map
suggests, it may very well have been lost.
Again this is
very rare for UPS.
If you feel your shipment is lost we can initialize a trace of the
shipment. If UPS cannot provide proof of delivery
they will issue a claim number and pay for the
merchandise. OVIS will file your loss claim, the
best way is to
email us with your name and Order ID number, from
that we can provide the necessary information to UPS to
trace the shipment. UPS has a detailed
frequently asked questions page that will answer
most all questions about the claim process. |
