    As I said in my rating on the same slide in the 20" length, this is a quality product. The 304 stainless steel is slightly magnetic. This is either because of poor quality SS or due to the fact that 304 SS can become slightly magnetic when worked (in this case probably cold rolled). My only complaint is that there is no screw slot that allows for up and down adjustment when installing the box side (larger piece) of the slide. You MUST get these dead on square and level the first try. In my case, putting them on a boat, and with no room to use the Rockler jig for this, it was a real challenge. (I am a professional woodworker and have installed hundreds of slides) On a positive note, they are a little forgiving when it comes to the width of your case. Mine was 1/16" larger than it should have been, but the slides still work smoothly after installation.

    OVIS Respose: These are cold rolled. 304 Stainless will be slightly magnetic, 316 less so, but it is too brittle to cold roll into a drawer slide.
