This Premium Teak, Flat Cut, Wood Veneer - 2 Ft x 8 Ft - Pressure Sensitive Adhesive (PSA) with a 10 Mil Paper Backer is suitable for fine woodwork, furniture, and cabinets. As with any wood veneer, a clean, smooth, well prepared surface is essential for proper adhesion. This is a natural wood product, the color and grain pattern will vary from what is pictured.

	by Peter Smith on 3/1/2017 from Princeton NJ	Very fine This veneer was out of stock, but Ovis put in a special order for me, which arrived at the promised time; so far so good. The PSA backing gives a strong bond, and trims easily with a craft blade. Of the three 2 by 8's I ordered, two where as shown, but the third had a much more pronounced grain, more like zebra wood. I used this on the back of the cabinet I was building. The color was also more light brown than the orange of the existing teak cabinets I had to match. However I read in the literature that the orange/reddish color in teak develops over time. Treatment with teak oil helped to deepened the shade, and the final color match was acceptable to the client; we will see what happens in the long future. Altogether a highly satisfactory transaction.
