Understanding Freight Costs

Given our role as a wholesale supplier, we understand that while many of our products are affordably priced, they can also be heavy or bulky. Therefore, we calculate our freight charges based on the weight and dimensions of your order, utilizing carriers such as UPS, USPS, or, for particularly heavy shipments, common carrier truck lines. Please note that while the weight listed for our products is highly accurate, slight variations may occur due to design updates or packaging adjustments aimed at reducing your shipping costs. Rest assured, your freight charges will reflect the actual total weight and dimensions of your package. Our system automatically interfaces with carriers to provide an estimated freight charge. For those who prefer a precise quote, we offer the option to pre-package, weigh, and measure your order for a firm freight cost. 

Estimated Delivery Times

To help you plan, here are the estimated delivery times for various shipping methods:

  • USPS Ground Advantage: 1-5 days
  • USPS Priority Mail: 2-3 days
  • USPS Ground Advantage: Available for Alaska & Hawaii, can take up to 15 days
  • UPS Ground: 1-5 days (refer to the map for detailed estimates)

Handling Damaged Shipments


In the unfortunate event that you receive a damaged product, it’s crucial to keep the packaging as is without making any further alterations. All original packaging materials should be retained since the carrier might need to inspect them as part of their claim investigation process. The immediate next step is to get in touch with OVIS so we can initiate the claims procedure on your behalf.


Addressing Lost Shipments


Despite the rarity thanks to modern tracking technologies, shipments can sometimes go astray. If your order hasn't arrived within a reasonable timeframe, it's possible it may have been lost during transit. You can monitor the progress of your shipment here. Should your order appear as undelivered or remains in transit significantly beyond the expected delivery period, it's likely the shipment has been misplaced.


Should you suspect your shipment is lost, please contact us so we can start a trace with the carrier. In instances where the carrier is unable to verify delivery through proof, they will issue a claim number and reimburse for the lost merchandise. OVIS will handle the filing of your loss claim efficiently – just reach out to us directly.


International Shipments Guidelines


At present, OVIS is able to accept international orders exceeding $1,000 on a quote basis only. For such orders, please contact us to receive a personalized quote tailored to meet your specific needs.
