Lid & Flap Stays

Professional and hobbyist woodworkers who need lid supports or flap stays for their project can find a fine selection of models at OVIS. Lid stays provide the support needed to hold cabinet doors which open upward, while downward opening doors require the use of flap stays.

OVIS currently carries lid and flap stays from the premium hardware manufacturer, Sugatsune. Sugatsune's lid and flap stays are available in different sizes and weight capacities to perfectly fit a builder's needs.

 Most flap stay models in stock feature multiple door angle adjustments and soft-close technology to prevent doors from slamming shut. Lid support models come in satin-finished stainless steel with a positive stop to keep the door open. Sugatsune lid stays have a weight capacity of up to 33 lbs. Most models can be used for piano, butt, or concealed hinges.
